Down loaded the software from the Hex sight and went to install it.

1st thing that happened.

Windows mallisious spyware removal tool wouldn`t let it run, so I disabled that and caried on.

Then Stopzilla reported that it had found FakeAlert.C which it reports as

Overview -

A trojan detection that displays fake alert messages on user's system.

It then scaned my system and deleted the file I had downloaded along with the GS-911 Uninstall.exe as it found that was infected aswell.

Also Bittdefender V9 reported the same.

I have sent an email to Hex with the above in to see what they have to say.

So if you use the GS-911 you may want to check your system.

Not nice is it, let us know what Hex have to say please

Cheers, Martin

Had a quick email back from hex.

Nice to know they listen to there customers, so will wait to see what they find.

Just downloaded 904.1 myself (now I'm at home) and AVG says its clean, but that doesn't mean it was when you downloaded it...
