Hi
I have a R1200GS Adventure and a Harley Dyna FXDB, but I have no luggage for the Dyna and the stuff I have looked at so far is damm pricey so I am looking into the possibility of using my BMW side alloy boxes (seen here: BMW R1200GS - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia).
I can buy the frames from BMW for approx £250 but will need someone to make up a good mount to take the loaded weight of the boxes.

Has anyone done anything like this or have any ideas before I get started on this project?

Thanks
Rob

if they are of any use i have some leather panniers and rails for a dyna (held iirc). Were fitted but never used. If you need a photo of them i'll have to have a root around in my loft.

post up some photies when you have done.... could be intresting

Seems my PM isn't available at the mo, could you post details please?
Ta

......and it won't be until you pay £12 subs. Possibly the finest use of a few quid know to man and gets you into all the best parts of the site:thumb

Hi Rob
We just supplied aluminium panniers & a plastic coated frame for a Harley. Give us a quick call, perhaps we can help.

I think GSA boxes would look smart on a harley, have you thought about a top-box as well?

Here you go, saw this in the Dolomites a couple of years ago
