GS and GSA mix and match

ok got y eyes on a few 1150gs but i like look of adv. However money wont go that far. Ques is will adv seat sit on standard gs will it adjust height? Thought i could do a makeover?

No, you need to change all the mountings, locks and rear rack.

Most people who have an ADV and want the ultimate in comfort revert back to the std 1150 set up and fit Corbin or Sargent seats etc.

Stick with the twin seat, then you won't loose the under seat tool box, which is a real plus (I wish there was one on the 1200).

All the ADV ally luggage will fit straight on the standard 1150, as will the bigger tank and the screen.

The only thing you can't easily do is the single seat, and if Tim reckons the twins are more comfortable I'd go with the twins
