Today i spent some time, with a local Leather Company. http://www.transcal.co.uk/
The topic was GS and GSA seats.
Ive asked them to cost out a rebuild and recover of my seat, Covering it in leather.
A few comment were made, about what gore-tex would do to leather over time, and making a leather seat water proof, Also Cost.
Would anyone else be interested in having there seat rebuilt. ?
Im just doing some ground work, at the moment. as to do it correctly, a foam seat mould will need to be made, to replace the foam on the original seat pan.
From what im understanding, other than the seat pan, designs, colours etc etc are easy.
