Don't know which boots to buy the new GS rallye or alpinestar tech ? or sidi crossfire, don't like the look of sidi adventure so they're out,any recommendations

I got Sidi Courier for the road rides and Sidi Saber for green lane rides.
Both are not waterproof, but comfort and support are perfect for me. I have had several pairs of the same boots for the last few purchases.
Next road boots with be either Sidi Adventure or the new Alpinestar Adventure boots, though the sole on the Alpinestar doesn't look right... I am changing from my usual choice in search of a waterproof boot.

Timpo.

I've been looking at the GS Rallye too. Not sure if the bootie thing is a good idea or not - just more effort when you're putting them on?

Crossfires are now VERY comfortable but it took me ages to break them in!

And they STILL squeeeeeeeeeek when I walk!

Do you need off-road type boots?

If not the TCX Infinity are a good comfortable waterproof boot which are fine for walking around in when you get where you're heading. Plenty of satisfied customers on here albeit nowhere near the protection of a decent off-road boot.

I've had the GS boot for 3yrs now not very waterproof but when broken in i found mine very comfy for walking in and they offer loads of support ,and if you break buckles you can replace them. All in all very pleased with mine:thumb2
