In the nicer weather I ride in RST jeans & a pair of MOMO Firegun boots. The boots are lighter & much comfier to walk in than my Sidi Adventures & are waterproof so fine if I get caught in a shower or 2. However since going from a K1600 to a GS1250 my right foot has been getting wet! I’m thinking (hoping) that it’s spray from the rear wheel area making my ankle area wet. Have any other GS owner’s experienced similar? If so are there any farkles to prevent it? Otherwise it could just be one of boots is no longer waterproof.
Cheers.

I suspect a search of the archives will reveal that this was a discussed subject many years ago

I fitted a (genuine) Mudsling to my R1250GS, also a one piece mainstand protection guard, which significantly reduced the amount of spray being thrown at the rear of my legs and boots in wet weather.

Are these boots short legged? if so maybe spray is working it's way in over the top.

Thanks all for your input & suggestions. Having searched the forum seems I will probably have to invest in a Mudsling or Wunderlich deflector. As I ride all year it would be a sound investment although a shitload of money for a bit of plastic!

Ali Express do a cheap copy. Fits well and seems to work ok.
