A blatant plug for my nephew's business:

If you are looking for a place for a meeting or just a good meal with a drink, give a thought to the Queen's Head at Broad Chalke...

Ryan is a GS owner and a forum member, he may even provide the first drink free.

Wow! What a great place the Queens Head is, lovely atmosphere, beautiful food, and excellent beer! :beerjug:
Many thanks for Saturday night Ryan, t’was nice to meet up with a fellow Tosser and that was truly the best Snake & Owl pie and Treacle Sponge & Custard I have had in a long long time. We’ll certainly be back for more. :clap

Any local Tossers out there fancy a beer & bollocks night at the Queens? This is a great place for a ride out to especially now the evenings are getting lighter.

I don't live too far away in Gillingham. I used to stop there some years ago when I was fit and active cycling it was good then. I'd be more than happy to nip on over on my motorised bike some evening and have a meet up with some other tossers.:beerjug:

We better make some plans :beerjug:

I'm up for a beer or two in the Queens one night now i'm back from my travels. What nights would suite you best? I'm about most weekday nights and some weekends (not this one coming as it's Paignton) so i'm easy

.

Hi Lee,
I too went to Paignton, camped nearby. I am busy all this week, and I go away with a mate next week for a ride around England, to meet up with people I used to work with. Will get back to you on my return. Perhaps the 18th May?

Sounds like a good plan :thumb
Have a good trip & i'll catch up with you later.

Hi Lee,
we had a great trip, dodged all the showers, and did about 750 miles. My back is suffering from it. Hope to be at The Queens head about 8pm. Paul. I have a black and silver GSA.
Paul.

Sorry Paul i missed your post, did you go to the Queens last night?

Hi Lee, Yes I did, and the landlord always has the Wednesday off too I found out. It was quite asmusing though when I told the bar maid that there was a tosser in the house, how she kept a straight face I don't know. I am busy all next week, but will see how the week after is, and get back to you.
