Just got the adventure seat to go on my 1150, but im struggling to find out the exact bits i need to swap over. Ive had a look on realoem.com but im thinking all the bits and bobs it shows on the "bench seat" bit at bits bolted to the seat? Just wondering what the mininum parts are i need to get the seat on, i can make it look pretty with the rear rack later... when i can find one!

Any of the guys who have done the swap the other way know what i mean?

Thanks guys :)

the rear rack is an essential part, you won't get an adv seat to fit with the standard locating lugs and rear section. And the adv seat lock uses the standard gs helmet lock location to open/close/lock.

cheers steptoe, as ever a veritable ocean of knowledge!

Bugger though, cant seem to find a rack anywhere. I might have a laugh and ring up for the price on a new un. *gulp*

well i got a price!!!

For all the bits to mount the seat on the subframe, just over £100 inc. vat & delivery.

But they didnt quote for the rear rack.. so ive got to get another quote for that... and i believe its that bit that will hurt.

£100 was bad enough!!! lol... still needs must!

Just to check before i order the bits, the undertray etc is still the same isnt it? nothing required but the following :-

Rear rack
Handle
Lock support
Bowden cable
Bracket
Rubber stops
Support bracket
load of bolts

otherwise i can use my existing seat lock fitted to the above bits n bobs?
Hope there isnt some sneaky part that i wont have but is absolutely required in order to fit after im 90% through changing it over haha

I have got most of them bits including the rack and grab handle and ill be cheaper than the dealers
