............ we could have offered "THIS" design that shows the UK with the flag superimposed... however the flag is obviously an issue (please remember that these are concept designs at the moment)

If you look at the first image for the Safricans - we used a map and compass........ thought about doing the same for the UK.... but it will look bloody bland if it's "All in White"

sorry chaps - could not resist that - especially as we've been having 40 deg C & upwards - pool temp is 28 - swimming 'til 11pm.............. aaaaah Africa!


seriously though - please feel free to make some suggestions.

We could use the UK map and do something with it - then do one for Europe. These T-shirts are screen printed, so every "change" will alter the bulk printing cost - especially if it's small quantities.

Think about it - if we have 3 different bikes/logo's with 3 different map/backgrounds - that's 9 different screen templates. So logically we'd look at a general design that would show or represent the spirit of Adventure/Touring

Please therefore post a list of the bikes and map/flag you'd like to see.

- 1200GSA (obviously)
- 1200GS (also)

Instead of wording "GS 1200" why not "BMW GS", keep the Adventure bit. The design then covers the whole range and the Adventure we all have when riding.

I like the UK flag design.

Maybe two designs for UK then to really keep cost down and increase sales....

As for feedback....I wouldn't tinker with them at all! The response has been mainly favourable, with only calls for other nationality flags and a GS version....'so if it ain't broke, why fix it?'

If I had to say anything, it'd be that the design is slightly lost in White...but that is being very picky, and probably more down to personal taste.

How about ...

• having the flag logo on the font
• choice of bike on the front
• and nothing on the back

I would like black, with the UK flag (bare in mind 'we' are currently still 'one' - that will start a topic!), 1150GS image, preferably without the writing on the rear.
This would mean that I, sorry, wife, would have an easier job ironing it.

why not just keep the same colours as for the map, but use a picture of the world job done you please everyone,

How about doing something universal like using some kind of world map in the background. Main idea behind that thinking is these are supposed to be round the world bikes so why not portray that. Kinda GS 1200 Adventure the world is our playground type deal. The other reason has been mentioned above which is the Scots, Welsh and Irish don't particularly fly the Union Jack.
