I've seen a couple of comments on the discolouration of GS Bars, over the last few days.
My solution is to polish with Mer (T-Cut if they're in a really bad way already),every so often. It keeps them in good nick and shiny black, whilst repelling the discolouration/whitening caused by rain/weather oxidisation.
I know we shouldn't have to to it,but all GS Bars have been the same for years.
It's a cheap and easy solution to removing the bars and respraying, takes about 2 minutes to do and makes the bike look a whole lot better....................

Jhonny,

thanks for the tip, I have bent mine so they are bieng replaced, I might try polishing the new set up rather than spraying them.
I am a bit conerned that if a bugger the painting up I will be stuck with tatty new bars

Spray mine with GT85 whenever I wash the Bike, worked so far.
