help, please!!! I currently ride a F650 funduro which has a seat hieght of 800mm and will soon be able to upgrade. I would dearly love the Adventura and am willing to go to the expense of the ESA but can anyone advise what the seat height is with it in the lowest setting???? does it make alot of difference???? The main BMW site gives the lowest standard setting as 890mm but there are no details of how much the ESA will reduce it by????

there is no low seat option with the gsa. you can however fit a standard gs seat or even a low gs seat to the gsa.

the esa does no lower the bike at all. it only raises it in off road mode.

alternatively give gary glitter a ring on 0191-967-6645 and borrow a pair of his platform shoes

Ruke of thumb is you have to be 6ft to "fit" on a GSA but there are plenty of folk who are a lot shorter and handle them no problem.

Best thing is to get into a friendly dealer and sit on them. I`m sure they will swap seats around for you to try.
