To be fair the rider clearly didn't have a clue what he was doing so kudos to him for thinking 'feck it' and just having a go .............. he actually did very well not to drop it riding like that so extra kudos to him

So how would others deal with this crossing.. up on the pegs and go for it?

I would have done the same as Nutty...

Go for it? Nah, not really but yeah, up on the pegs, look ahead (not at the front wheel) and a nice steady speed (10 / 15 mph?).

Now, riding over the foot bridge would've been more fun, that would have been a 'proper' challenge
