Having travelled down to GP at Barcelona with group of bikers we made our way back to Brive France via the Pyrennes and three of us decided to go into Andorra to try and buy some cheap biking gear ( not that I could afford it and the wife would have gone mad if I had had bought anything ) but with tongue in cheek I have to say sadly when we got there sadly eveywhere was closed. But on the way over the Pyrennes two GS riders sped past me through the twisties (I know ,I know, us semi sports bike riders I own a Blackbird ) and because my mates stopped at a bikers park over the mountains and I had not spotted them when I went past I lost them. So there I am trying to figure out where to go when I spot the two GS riders a little further uo the road so I rode up to them and asked the way to Andorra and they too were a little puzzled as to what way we should go but and heres the important part they immediately invited me to join there group. I was about to when my two mates showed up and I gave a sigh of relief. One of the GS riders mates made us all laugh when he told my mates how he had found me crying at the side of the road. I was,nt honestly I was,nt but I really appreciated their invitaion and comradely spirit. We eventually all rode off towards Andorra and withuin a short while the 2 GS riders came flying past . Point well proved fella's. Hopefully the 2 GS riders and their mates will read this and I would just like to say thank you to all of you for your kindness I am now left yet again with the nagging feeling that I should try a GS again.
Oh yes and another interesting thing is that none of us were without grey hair but we were all out there acting like the 16 year olds that we really are.
