Anybody know if the GS1150 seats fit the GS1100 and how much roughly should someone expect to pay for an unused set of red GS front and rear seats, any input would be appreciated.

The seats from the 1150 will fit the 1100 and vice versa. As for the price, if you do a search on here, as plenty of them have been sold over the years. That should give you an idea of the price.

Bob

PS If you want real seat comfort, I have a pair of Corbins for sale if you are interested:)

Hello Bob,

I would be interested in your set of Corbins for sale. How much do you want for them? I am off on a long trip soon and my seat is piggin uncomfortable. I have a GS1150. If you have already sold these, could you recommend any other types of seats for long distance comfort?

Do you know what the Tourtec seats are like, or does anyone else know what they are like?

Hi Lotty,

If you let me know your e-mail address, I can send you the details and some photos of the seats.

Cheers,

Bob

Candy Assed Babboon Red Seats

Robbo 7822, I had my seats custom fitted and recovered in an attractive black vinyl by Rich's Custom Seats in Seattle Wa.

I am a bit of a runt so getting my feet on the ground and being comfortable was a bit of a "stretch".

The machine no longer looks like a Candy Assed Baboon with the red seats looking so out of place on such an elegant machine.

I can also touch the ground with both of the balls my feet at a stop with a 29" inseam, and one foot can be flat on the ground with little effort.

Surely there is a custom seat fitter in the U.K. that can set you up good and proper. Ask around and you may find a good solution.

Regards, Minustide
