GS shocks & stands on a GSA?

I assume that I can put GS shocks & stands on a GSA (or maybe just GS springs onto the GSA shocks) to lower it a bit without any other issues.

Does anyone know of any compatibility problems between different years - or have I overlooked something?

I had gs shocks on my 2006 gsa. Was a bit low for me but the centre stand was the gsa on and was fine.bit more of a lift to get it up on it. The side stand was also origional which worked ok till the bike was loaded with gear and used to stand a bit upright.
Got my shocks for sale if you need some £140 for the pair in the forsale section.

This post is primarily to bump the thread as I too am interested in the answer; not so much about the shocks as I'm having Wilbers fitted but about whether the GS stands are lower and compatible.
