GS stolen, insurance?

I had my new GS the all of two weeks, then it was stolen from Vauxhall last Thursday at lunch time whist I popped in to a cafe for a coffee, 25 mins and it was gone, I can only guess I was followed and it was stolen to order.

Anyway does any one have any experience with bike theft, I contacted my insurance co Carol Nash and they said it will take at least 8 weeks to sort out, very handy as it is my only mode of transport seems a long wait to me

they usually wait six weeks to see if it is recovered then two weeks to process the paperwork

You might find thaf when they have paid out your inurance policy is cancelled. Did you have any additional security fitted?
