GS System Topbox size/volume?

Have sold my GS and am looking for a topbox for my new bike, but want something similar in capacity to my GS's System topbox.

Can anyone tell me it's volume (in litres) and/or physical dimensions?

33 liters....they are the same ones used in 1100-1150RT
You can find aftermarket either in 36 or in 42, 46, 52 liter configurations if you want to go bigger

Thanks for the reply, but it's definitely bigger than 33l.


Perhaps it's the 46l one.

BMW markets them as 35 lt. and is the one in the picture. If it is 46lt then you should be able to fit 2 full face helmets in it and it definately is not BMW sytem topcase. I am in the lookout for one ATM

I bought one a couple of weeks ago based on this presumption, to enable me to swap luggage from bike to bike. The GS system top box does not fit my RS which I believe to be the same as the RT. So I'll just sell it on again.
