Guys,
Some help (and piss taking if you feel the need) please....

I recently bought a second hand genuine GS tankbag that appears to be pre 2008 spec.

I have a 2010 twin cam GSA...will it fit?

I'm told that the later bags have a bracket that fits beneath the seat, where as the one I bought has an adhesive pad.

Photos attached of my fittings......any advice greatly appreciated (other than sell it and buy the right one!)

Cheers

I'm sure it will fit you will just have to by the bottom adhesive bracket which BMW must sell. They are great bags by the way, best i've ever owned.

+1 :thumb I did the same and it fits great, the only problem/criticism is that the adhesive velcro fix to the bottom of the bag is not the most robust, I have had to renew the "sticky" bit to the tank regularly. Apart from that it is spot on.

Maybe you have it set too tight:nenau It doesnt have to be really tight as once on the bike its not going anywhere.:thumb2
