GS Top Box mounting plate

Very quickly, can anyone say if the top box maounting plate for an '04 GS is the same as/will fit an '09 GS?

I am pretty sure that the rear end of both the GS and GSA has not changed since the 1200 line started - other than things like LED lights anyway.

i.e. The Givi rack and the low seat from my '08 GS definitely fit my brother's '06

Thanks - I was buying a top box & plate off ebay for my 09 GS. I didn't think there'd be much difference. Thanks for the advice.
