In case you were considering swap to XR and has your topbox from GS....it may not look sexy...but it does make it very practical bike! Folded looks much better, but I haven't had a chance to take another pic...

This is not official topbox for XR...this is me mocking up with GS topbox...my point was that BMW made something incredible....they managed to keep same base plate for two different bikes and that's the RESULT :)

I'm pretty sure that XR cases will look exactly the same as from RS... Take a look

you offending all GS owners with your statement :friday

You speak for all GS owners do you? Just commenting on what I see, it doesn't suit the bike and for my tastes is too big, is that ok with you?
The RS pics you posted looks no better imho, if I were buying this bike I would be looking elsewhere for my luggage requirements.

only for those who have GS vario topbox :D As this is Vario....it can be smaller, but I didn't take a PIC of it when folded.

Vines told me there will be a big and small top box with the larger being 49 litres.

BMW already have an adventure sports bike. Er - is called the GS. Imho BMW should just have given us the choice of two engine options for the GS/GSA. The current one and a 150bhp LC. Simple.

I don't think they will ever put inline 4 in a gs . It just would not be a GS
