GS tyres faq info requested

If you have any info that would be useful for the tyre FAQ thread, please add it here .

EG;

Stockists, contact details etc (gps info if poss, phone no's adresses, type of service (ride-in or wheels off) , would you recommend them/wouldn't use them, price guide (please date these) etc etc

opinions on any specific tyre.....wet/dry/onroad/offroad rating, mileage/wear rates, problems......

discount info for gsers?

(only individual non-commercial stuff though......anyone connected with the tyre suppliers can fekk orf right away unless it's pure information...this is going to be as impartial as I can make it )


The more information we can gather, the more useful this will be to all of us (and the less 'what tyres shall i buy' questions we'll get from nOObs no offence )

BTW.....if anyone wants to cover any other subject in a similar FAQ, please let me know.......

Judge is going to do one on seats (cos he's had nearly all of them so far in his quest for buttock nirvana ) but other FAQ's that spring to mind as being usefull would be lights (BRBR?), windscreens/windscreen mods, luggage......

It would be nice if we could slowly build a knowledge base of this kind of FAQ here....

I'm very short on info/reviews for the following tyres -


Enduro 1 and 4, sahara 3, Pirelli mt60 and 80 and conti escapes.

If anyone's used them on a gs, any comments would be welcome about these hoops.
