GS1 Boots

I didn't know it could be adjusted - will give it a go over the weekend. Thanks

If it's like the 1150 one, the adjustment is very limited. Touratech do a replacement that's got more holes than swiss cheese and loads of adjustment for height and distance from the foot peg. I've had one on my 1150 for ages and it has worked faultlessly, cost about £30 I think.

This should be a standard item, a cheap and simple idea and a bit like being able to move your car seat to reach your pedals IMO. I've got pretty wee feet as well (size 8), i've no idea how those with big boats can manage with the standard lever.

... just want a pair of boots that are waterproof and comfy, the HG TRG Rally ones are waterproof and they're only £139.
They are OK, I have a pair for on the road. But they are not to be compared to the GS1 boots for protection. GS1 is a proper motorcross / enduro boot. The HG ones or similar have a bit of shin & ankle protection, but that's it.

GS1's have solid plastic protection all around and a "hinged" ankle joint. A bit like a ski boot. At first they are nearly impossible to walk with, but once they are broken in it gets a lot better. Never like a pair of old slippers of course.

Cheers,
Michel
