Hi all
Looking for advice or re-assurance on this.
I'm slightly concerned that the bottom bolt for the rear shock is not a tight fit in the fitting on the rear swing arm - looks like a rubber mount with metal sleeve insert. Result appears to be that even when torqued up to normal pressure, I can bounce the suspension and get a "click" from what is, I think, the small amount of movement there is. Paralever has been adjusted. Top rear shock bolt is tight. Shock has been switched with new, same result. New bolt also. Bike is 13 years old, 70k miles.
Question is, is this normal and should I ignore it? ie it's safe enough. (Didn't notice before but that doesn't mean it's not always done it......). Or should I tighten the bolt up further, or even replace the bush and sleeve that's fixed into the rear swingarm?
Cheers
