GS11000 and clutch problem :(

Yesterday, some 500 km far from home ( as usual ) something strange happened with clutch indicator.
GS won't start in any gear with clutch retracted, but only in neutral - sidestand switch works fine so obviously problem is somewhere else

Clutch Safety Switch

Andrej,
There is a switch within the clutch lever housing that allows starting with the clutch disengaged, much like the kickstand switch.
Check that it is plugged in and that the terminals are not corroded.

Thank you ! Problem was in dead switch and everything works perfectly afther replacement.

Clutch switch??

I have an 1100GS too and mine will not start in gear with the clutch pulled in. I have to be in neutral. Never really thought about it until I read this thread (ignorance is bliss!!).

Has something bust?
