Hi
Ijust received my tank cover.
But i din't came with any instruction on how to mount it..
Can any one give a help (picture for dummies) whats the best points to paste the brackets...

Thank you

I've got one on, but I didn't paste anything:confused:

Remember that one goes in front and one behind the front shock absorber.

Email Baglux and ask them to email you a fresh set of instructions:D

I can email you a scan of the Baglux original instructions.
PM me your email address.

Regards

Tim

ok
thanks
i can't send you a pm, so i send it a email whit mine,

Thanks alot.

OK

Thanks to Ned I got the instructions (cheers again) - now....

Has everyone found it so enjoyable lining up the plastic circles with the BMW roundel? At the yoke there are three straps; one for the yoke itself, and two others, according to the instructions that Ned sent I have to put them in front and behind the shock - but there is no way that the straps reach either crossing and meeting up with the buckle on the other side or doubling back to the same side buckle.

any help, advice?

sorry dont have a digital camera - hopefully the three kings will bring me one!

If you've not got something sorted by the weekend let me know. I'm in the middle of fitting lights to the bike so my tank cover has been taken off and will be refitted (probably over the weekend) so I can digitally photo the way it's done and send that to you if you like.

Cheers David! Mines an ADV but I suppose it makes no difference?

The tank cover for the larger tank has different fittings / straps
Oh bollocks - do you have the bigger one?

bigger one

yes

personally l don't think the bigger one with new fittings fits as well as small one l've had both. Sometime over christmas will take a couple of pics and send to you l've moved the fitting a couple times its not as obvious as the smaller one

Bawdy you didnt tell me that the tank bag comes with an enormous made in France label. I´ve already had several Spaniards offer to sort it out for me - as soon as i am satisfied it fits - it goes.:D

sorry to anyone on the board who is French:blush

Ah, actually, it does. The adv tank is different and needs a different cover. You may have the wrong tank cover there.

turbine-2 did you eventually get some piccies done? Below you can see the stage I am at with mine - could do with a better fit.

Have sent this to Vinny at Baglux, so hopefully he can help, but if any of you guys who have one already fitted could help that would be great.

thanks

I ran over a little with the installing of the lights and then my garage door failed so at the moment I've not got the tank cover on, but once I do I'll let you know.

I have just fitted a bagster tank cover to my Adventure, Took about 10 minutes and a perfect fit. There is no made in France label on my cover. Could the problem with your cover be French build quality?

Thank you

I had one on my TDM, took it out, unfolded and when it was in place made sure there were no wrinkles in it.... perfect fit.
