No I wouldent who'd want it!", serously Roger I have a cat / exhaust box I took off mine when I fitted the y peice you can have it if you want it it's in good nick but it's heavy so it wont be carried on the bike. if you want it I can bring up to Daves in December I'll have to come in Sallys car so will charge you for the tunnel toll!. Let me know is thats any good also give me an excuse to keep warm!.

I had exactly the same issue. It's the Y-piece which pulls everything into the wrong place. Genuine Remus Y-pieces are better than the non-brand-name-alternative-whose-name-I-have-forgotten, but nothing will easily put the can back into the correct place.

I tried the alternative bracket - it made no difference; loosening everthing off and getting the pannier/frame rail clearance correct before tightening up was the best I could do. Still was touch and go, though.
