Will I have to take the screen off to get it in the back of a medium sized van, i.e. not a great big furniture van. Anyone done it?

Please don't say "try it" or "measure it" as I'm not at home with my tape measure and won't have access to a van for quite some time.
Just planning a track day trip in June that will involve 2 bikes in a van.

My KTM scrambler goes straight into my van !!!!

That made me smile :)

As I actually have a black NN screen fitted which is a tad taller than standard, all the above comments suggest to me that I better plan to take my screen OFF to be sure of slotting the bike into whatever van I hire. Will be "transit" sized for sure but you never know exactly what it will be on the day.

Snetterton pipe and slippers club track day beckons for a change of scenery in June for me and my boy.

Screen off and drop the handlebars down, to get my GSA in the back of a Merc Vito van....:blast

VW transporter T5 low roof - mirrors off and you can angle the screen without actually removing it ( really fiddly to get them nuts that hold the screen to the frame back on ).
IIRC.
