GS1200 Adventure Panniers!!!!!!!

Hi All
Has anyone managed to get any of the new Adventure panniers ? My dealers assures me that BMW are not supplying any because of a problem with the release system. I would love to get my hands on a set for my next trip,but i cant even get a estimate for delivery. Anyone else have this problem....and are they any good? The factory are still happy to bolt on the brackets.... its a £200 deposit on the most expensive panniers in history!!! regards to all.

I bought one of "spare" 1200GSA's on the launch day which came with the 3 box system from the factory. I am very happy with them and have had no problems with them over the first 1,300 miles. The dealer did accidentley scratch one when coding the key locks but told me before I picked up the bike and has put a replacemt on back order but no sign of it to date. Will be interesting to see if there is any change to the locking mechanism when I do get the replacement box.
