For Sale GS1200 Advenure '06

Hi, looking to sell my 2006 R1200GSA. Couple of pics here, 48,600m and open to sensible offers for age and mileage but i'd be looking for £4750.

Bikes online with higher mileage are 4 grand, slightly newer or lower mileage are over 5 grand. More photos available of course and happy to answer questions. when I picked it up from Fasttrack in Melton the ABS didnt seem to be working, I dont know a huge amount about the famous ABS problem, but we believe the previous owner has bypassed it because there is no warning light. It could be that ive just never braked hard enough to activate the anti lock .

Bike is just outside Peterborough.

It does have full aluminium BMW boxes on it still.

Joined and selling your GS the same day...

Does the ABS light flash when you start the bike, and turn off after you have ridden a very short distance? If not, previous owner has put black silicon over the warning light.

Thank you for the suggestion, I wondered if that was a 'remedy' of sorts.
So why do you not like me selling my bike? I joined and paid to sell my bike, is there a required number of posts I have to have made, or like the freemasons do I have to be in lurking in a forum for 10 years before I'm allowed at the top table? I have owned it since 2022, and fancy a change in spring because I'm changing jobs in December and its a good time for me to either get a 1250 or dare I say it, a Multistrada.
