does anybody know of any stonking discounts being offered on the last of the current crop of standard GS1200 's ?
Balderstons had some.
I bought one in October.
Pre registered, no abs with heated grips £8195 I believe that was £1100 off earlier list price.

Hi there Adyb, try Wollastons in Northampton, I`ve just bought a brand new GS - ABS, panniers, heated grips, chrome exhausts, white indicator lenses, fender extender, full 2 year european warranty, delivered, 12 months tax & with a full tank of fuel - in gorgous black for 9800, bargain, well cuffed 
I live in Peterborough where my local dealer Balderstons quoted me 11000 for the same thing, somewhat taking the p***s I think.
The guys at Wollastons could not have been more helpful, so I`d say give `em` a ring, good luck mate.

There's been some discussion of this before. If there are any 07's left
you should be looking at £1100 - £1300 off, especially on pre-reg ones.You need to bribe the Finance Director
with a holiday or something

I think there's one pre-reg bike still in Allan Jefferies with ABS and a low seat, but no heated grips.
I'd be surprised if you'd get offered more than £500 off list though

Most of the GS deals I've seen are not for money off, but with a lower finance deal and free panniers. Cooper Tunbridge Wells had about 4 or 5 a few weeks ago. Various prices depending on the extras, 6.9% for 2.5 years through BMW select - limited to 6000 miles a year though. Included free panniers.
If dealers have some left after 26 Jan. when the new models are out, do we think prices will be keener then???

Forgot to mention Adyb, mine was NOT a pre-registered bike so my name is the first name on the log book, I would watch out for this as it could make a difference when looking at selling on.
