GS1200 dimensions ???

Just moved house and there is no garage, so I'm having to get a metal shed. Will try and make it secure as possible, but just need to know the dimensions of the GS on the stand (length & width).

Normally I'd measure it myself but its stored at my parents house which is quite a trip.....Can anyone measure theirs and let me know?

Was thinking of 10'x8'???? will it be big enough??

P.s. anyone had experience with these metal sheds?? I figure they're not as secure as a brick garage but planning permission wont let me put up another brick structure.........so I've had to go with the shed. It will be alarmed and everything, but I suppose if some theiving toerag wants it or my tools badly enough, they'll do anything to get them......

Mirrors are the widest part of the bike and are 93 cm from outer edge to outer edge. Bike is about 240 cm long including Vario top box. Measurements from a 200s GS (not Adventure).

Metal sheds can cause horrendous condensation. Make sure you properly insulate it before locking your bike in it

Don't forget to allow a couple of feet in the length to allow for the movement from front to back when you put the bike onto the centre stand...
