GS1200 fuel gauge

Have fitted a GSA fuel tank to my GS1200, any body know how to calibrate the fuel gauge to read correctly, local dealer quoted 3 hours workshop time and told me it still might not work??? Any body got any ideas

It's a BMW GT1 computer thing only, AFAIAA. The GS911 can't do it (yet?)

3 hours to set it up is a bit steep though, I think.

I'd save the cash myself, and use the trip meter.

Dealer did mine while I waited - took about an hour.
