Does anyone know if GS1200 or even GS1200 adventure handguards will go on an F800GS???? I already have the standard BMW OEM handguards, and their extended wind protectors on 800, but I just wondered if the above can be done??? I seem to be doing a lot of motorway miles, and although the OEM 800 handguards dont do too bad a job, I wondered if the 1200 GS or GS Adventure ones might just be a tad better. Also surprised that if you fit the extended OEM wind deflectors you have to drill holes in your nice new shiny plastic to get them on. Drilling 4 holes is not a problem for me,but I have to say I'm somewhat surprised especially when you consider I've just paid £101 for them. I'd also like to be able to do the above with the minimum of hacking and sawing if possible. If all esle fails im going to obtain a heat gun and just attach 2 strips, one above and one below the fittings I already have, on both sides naturally!!!!!
