It’ll be designed to hide paint bubbling to minimise paint warranty claims.

A dealer principal I chatted with recently intimated it was cheaper for BMW to deal with engine paint warranty claims than change their manufacturing processes. Hopefully they have got it right this time. The shitty paint problem is the biggest concern of mine about another BMW.

I like the vid where someone calls it 'fyring pan' paint........we should absolutely start referring to the R1300 as the 'frying pan' as that is what I will be calling it from now on.
