GS911 NO GOOD FOR K1600GTL

Just discovered today, my GS911 original isn't compatible with my 2015 K1600GTL, as I still own the old beast 2004 G1200gs the gs911 works fine with that, but not the other bike, now I am faced having to purchase another which I probably for a long while or never. any one else had this discovery ?

I had an email from them the other day offering me £20.00 to upgrade my early (long since sold) yellow USB GS911.

I think it was in the region of £100-200 depending on model

but i couldn't get definitive figure until you got to the point of payment on the new model

I figured it better passing it back through the community

Why is the GS911 not compatible? Is the connecter on the GS911 the old round pin block and K16 an OBD2 block . Converter cables are available. Or are the pin connectors ok but the GS911 needs an update to see the K16.

So : £150 +postage or free collection from North London , its well below the half the price of replacement, a fraction what I originally paid for it. so I think its fair ... dm me when(who) you want it ..
