Same experience - walked into showroom Saturday and bought one. No waiting list - pick it up on Friday

That's due to the amount of deposit cancellations...people deciding they don't like or want the bike now...

There are a good few extra bike from BMW in the dealers but they are no good if your spec differs from them??,
I was offered a bike now instead of may if I paid over a grand to upspec my order!!, DON`T that just piss you off after waiting six months already!!
so I ordered the panniers intead when I found the seat height not to bad..

Went into to Pidcocks this morning to drop of my cover note and they still have an unsold 1200GSA. It's the silver/grey model with ABS and off road tyres.

Appears it is a cancelled order from some one who bought the new K1200GT instead!!

And heres mine. Saw it last Saturday and bought it there and then. Picked it up yesterday and now done 320 miles on it with more planned tomorrow.

So far I consider it to be a great bike and the luguage system is IMHO a vast improvemt over the previous 1150 GSA.

Looks great Paul. I test rode one today for an hour and I thought it was great, the screen gives so much more protection when compared with the standard GS. Its on my shopping list for 2007.
