Even with a mudsling fitted to my GSA LC i get a wet backside when it's raining so am considering fitting frame infill panels to hopefully cure this. Is any particular brand better than another. The Puig ones look ok but are not cheap and there are the cheaper Chinese versions but not necessarily that well made. Would value any input to give me an idea which might be best option. These would be for the GSA Rallye so would have to fit with frame protectors in situ... Will be removing mudsling so that won't be an issue..

Puig panels work very well, although they use some of the same mounting points as the mudsling so some cutting and self tappers are needed.
I bought a cheap chinese one as I was not going to spend £180.00 or whatever and butcher it.
It all works well and keeps me and the missus clean and has done now for 30,000mls and been moved to the second GS.

The BMW ones made no difference on my bike, other than hiding the shock. Ended up removing them and selling them on here.
Just reread my post, not very clear.
Puig panels are top quality and look like they came with the bike.
The Chinese bit was the mudsling.
I don't know if they will fit with the frame protectors.
I used Wunderlich frame bags, sod all use for storage but kept crap of me. Stupidly sold them when I traded the GSA, now back on one !!
A lot of the crap that gets thrown up comes from the shovel on the back wheel, you remove it and see what difrence it makes, the shovel basically throws it back at you, best combination iv found is mudsling, bmw infills, remove the shovel and fit the cymarc number plate extension/rear deflector.

I’m on GS 8 now (6xGSA’s an 2xGS’s) and I’ve switched backwards and forwards with removing the shovel at the back. Looks wise - no brainier. I’m not sure removal reduces spray tbh. I think they are there for Euro reg’s with regard to spray out the back onto following vehicles rather than anything else ?
I’ve got infill panels, rear mudsling, front fender extender, I’ve had huggers / not had huggers. I’ve never found a happy alternative, always seem to get a wetter leg. The top box has helped the spray up the back tbh.
