Yes, good deal, bought my GSA in April every thing cept the alarm, I paid more than that and there has been price rises since then, so
£10k more than a fully kitted 1100 or 1150 
I can now see more clearly why I got off the new / shiny BM gravy train a couple of years ago.

I paid about the same without the top box and inner bags, but I did get the sat-nav bracket, tank bag and head light protector

Same here. I nearly bought a new GSA for 14500 but then bought another 1150 GSA with everything for 4500.
The new ones are amazing but not sure you get 10k more fun out of a new one than an old one.
That's a fair deal. If you add the retail cost of the alarm, top box and inner bags it represents a reasonable discount off the list price.

My brand new 59 plate with prem pack and panniers was £10500 last October
£4000 is a lot extra for a couple of extra bhp and ABS/TCS

Dont forget there is a free pannier offer on all GS / GSA ordered up until end of the year - so the dealer is only throwing in the alarm / topbox + inner bags.
I remember when I bought my 1150, new in 2001 for £8500 on the road.. and lots of my (non motorcycling) friends being aghast at the price... "You could get a nice little car for that" etc...

I'm one of those people that has just spent £14.5K on a GSA and have to say I do agree somewhat with what Timpo has said above. I'd like to add though, without people buying new bikes there will not be any used bikes on the market.
I'd also like to say that what anybody wants to spend is their own business and shouldn't be any concern to anyone else

I don't understand it, I paid 14K for my 2000 Softail Deuce with stage one and a short cissy bar, that's 10 years ago FFS
Class bikes or almost any NEW high capacity big bikes are not going to be cheap, back in 79 my best man had a BM R90 s and every body thought shit there expensive at the same time I was running a Laverda Jota and yes everyone thought expensive, nothing has changed FFS or am I mising something
