I Have Full Akro on mine Lovely , bought 2nd hand on this site its Great and easy to look after , baffle out its like an ME109

Ive got the Akra titanium twin can system (used). It sounds great but doesn't do quiet. 
Ive now got some baffles to calm it down but when one outlet is covered its really civilised so I fancy making up a flap valve for one can.

im running arko catless headers and a std end can now, happy with the sound and the power increase, no need for a arko end can, well i cant afford one so thats what im telling myself

I have some Remus headers that I had been using with the standard can. There was a noticeable improvement over standard. I cant comment about top end power, but the engine was smoother at low revs.
Then the Akra twin can system came along at a great price so it had to be done.

Was looking to buying an Akra, even second hand quite expensive, but now I'll not bother, cheaper to throw away the ear plugs and eat less.

First run on the bike today after fitting the Akraprovic last weekend. Snow had stopped proceedings !
Well is sounds great ! I take it back. Lots of popping on the over run and generally a great sound. It was almost like the bike got used to it and after 50 , the run to work, it sounded great. Don't figure but who cares. Loving it !

Fit an inlet air temperature spoof lead or wire in a 10K resistor. It stops the engine running so weak less sntach at low revs and reduces overrun pops.
FYI
"In addition any issues concerning 'popping' or backfiring on the overrun are due to air leaks in the system. On overrun a vacuum forms in the system and air will be drawn in through any gaps and may even cause flames to appear out of the back of the exhaust. If it is a new system, generally it will seal after the first few runs otherwise normal clear silicon bath sealer (really! - as used by all the race teams) can be used to seal any air leaks."

The bike did it on the standard exhaust when I bought it ! So its had a badly fitted exhaust from new then ?

I know it's wrong, but I like the sound of popping back on the overrun. Flames from the exhaust would be even better.
Does it have standard headers ? - they normal pop and fart with aftermarket headers - which sounds shit to my ear. My Hillman Imp used to backfire.
Mine's popped and farted on the overrun with every combination of standard headers/standard can/decatted headers/Akro can and that's with new gaskets on the headers to. Sad I know, but I really like it! Can't see it being of any problem myself - engine runs sweet as a nut.

Just leave the loose change out of your pocket and eat a few less pies and save the same amount of weight

maybe its ear of the beholder, but I can tell the akra can is deeper and a bit louder...its straight thru FFS...but cos of the cat its still quiet.I rode a new bike and my akra can fitted bike back to back and I reckon my bike is a bit perkier too.Stock can "farts" , akra can almost booms ! On the motorway its reminiscent of droning heinkels.
I do fancy trying it without the cat.
