GSA and high mileage

Most parts will be covered by the manufacturers 2 yr warranty ...

but the shocks are only covered to 30k, so should one fail, is it covered??

You know the answer to this one Mart. Good luck with a goodwill gesture out of warranty, you might be lucky.

Thankfully there are guys like Denz0, MCT suspension and Firefox Racing who can offer an overhaul service to replace seals and components and bring them back to life.

In my experience ... service annually include the final drive oil every year, look out for rear brake disc/pads and rear shock, and ride it. Everything else is cosmetic and farkles. Sold my last one just short of 80,000miles and it was still sweet, even better than the day I bought it.

I've twice traded in 30000+ mile GSA LC's. Both with no faults and only because I was lured in to it at the prospect of something new.
Inevitably things will start to go wrong, but a 2 year BMW warranty should reassure you.
