Been wanting one for ages and swapped the 1200RT for this beauty yesterday.
A big thanks to Allan Jeffries for outstanding service and especially Simon for all the help.

Got 250 miles already but need another 250-300 before the 14th for it's first service then off to Germany on the 16th for a real test!

I'm loving it so far :thumb

Was looking at these on Friday - and the GS too.

Very nice - enjoy!

Too effing lovely for words - I've got a real case of the Green Eyed Devil with this one. :beerjug:

thats class.

Was looking at them at Hursts, but my wee legs wouldn't cope with the higher seat, I'd need the low one which is only in black

Thanks for all the kind words lads :thumb

Can't leave the bloody thing alone, reminds me of my Bantam :D (that'll be my first bike not a sexual perversion with a small chicken) many moons ago :toungincheek

Just got to find a way to fit the Autocom now :blast The GPS was the easy bit.

Your bikes lovely, enjoy riding it..........hopefully get mine Friday!:beerjug:

Yes got it today (early thanks to great staff at Southport Superbikes) I have already (or Hazzy has!) fitted a crud catcher and fender extender and covered the bike in a healthy coat of ACF-50. first 60 miles a dream!:drool

Saw one of these on the M6 a few days ago, lovely looking bike but he'd run out of fuel and still had 18miles showing on the guage. My advice is stick a five ltr can of fuel in the topbox and run it dry so you know if your guage is or needs calibrating. Nothing worse than breaking down on foreign shores for something so stupid. I want one, alot :drool

:blast Thanks might give that a try, I was out today and it only had one bar left but said 80 miles, I know on my old GS that would have meant get some quick!

Am having a whale of a time in Germany with my "new" GS (been zooming around here a few weeks and have 2100 miles on the clock now - back to the UK on Thursday). GS owners over here have been drooling over the 2010 model and I have met a huge number of great folks...

Still scares the absolute wotsits out of me when you are pootling past lorries at "only" 90mph and some nutter in an X5 or similar overtakes you doing gawd knows how fast, though... The pressure differences and subsequent turbulent air around the bike is realy "interesting"

Have fun!!!
