To the best of my knowledge it will be replaced without too much argument.

I've had 3 GSA from 2013 to 16 and everyone of them has had the lights fail the 2014 had 6 replaced in over the 10,000 miles and 11 months.

So what happens when the warranty runs out?

Spray the bejaysus out of them with silicone spray or GT85 and hope for the best.

Yes, and fit some decent non BMW ones

My LED spots cost £15 the pair. £25 if you get the angel ring type. So far they've done two winters and work fine. Only issue is faded anodising colour. I can live with that for the price.
I've had other seemingly well made LED spots but they had a wide beam angle so caused dazzle and one of them filled with water. Had I spotted the damp build-up in time, some electronics grade silicone sealer on the gasket would have solved the problem. But as said, the lights were not suitable for my needs.

Sent somehow.

It doesn't work, I've greased them using ACF 50 Aqua block, used ACF50 and Gt85 nothing you do will stop them failing loads on here were saying its they way we wash the bike it's because we don't look after it or because we need to used some sort of protector. Saying they have never had any issues, only to report back later having to eat humble pie because the bike they have cared for and covered in all sorts of sprays and stuff, has failed.

Quite simply the BMW lights are shite,

I believe it's the connectors are just very prone to water ingress.

It's bad form really.
