Speaking to my dealer the other day there it would appear that this years production of the GSA is selling out quickly.

One dealer I spoke to was talking about a full order book up with the best delivery time of September. :blast

Luckily I've got mine ordered for an April delivery.:D

How's everyone else finding things?

It's funny, just been chatting about this.

Some dealers are finding it easier than others. CW's told me today that mid March for a basic bike and Mid April for a high spec bike. I know that the 4 bikes they've had in so far all went within a few days of arrival.

They're actually more worried about the supply for the F800GS as these are going to be in demand.

rainbow said mid june when i ordered last saturday.when i spoke to pidcocks today they said july and cw said mid april for a gsa:bounce1garbo:bounce1

and theres rumours of the twins goin outa production, seems they cnt make enough!hope there gonna keep the 800,s rolling

My GSA is coming from Bahnstormer mid-June. I phoned Vines to see if they could get it any quicker, but they reckoned the end of May so I stuck with Bahnstormer as they're closer to home.

I've seen grumblings that higher spec bikes (specifically those with ESA) are being delivered sooner, but neither dealership indicated that the choice of spec level will make any difference to lead time.

Oh well, they say that patience is a virtue...

You could always call round and see if they're willing to get rid of their floor model.

I only got mine so early because I wanted an easy spec, and BVM rang round, and found one due for the Channel Islands. They didn't appear to know what they had on their hands, so I nicked it. :D

If you want something that's basically "all the tickboxes on the build sheet", you might get lucky...

Found the same thing in Aus, alot easier to get a bike with everything than one with just say ABS or without.
So the hamburger with the lot will be here next week....booyah

Ordered mine two weeks ago for first two weeks in April delivery. there seems to be a lot of variation depending on spec. You'd think BMW would crank up demand on release of a new model as demand was bound to be high especially when you consider the McGregor/Borman effect happening at the same time (for the UK market at any rate). I know we tend to be loyal but it may mean new people considering a GS will move elsewhere if they can't get their hands on one for the spring/summer, anyway glad I got my order in when I did!

Ordered my new 12GSA an hour ago - red with Dynamic and Comfort. Given delivery for late April.

Now sat down with large glass of alcohol to help with the pain of p/x ing my 05 1150 GSA. Still wresting with question in my mind of if I've done the right thing as really the 1150 did everything I wanted it to (the power of the press is what I've put ot down to)

Incidentally, if anyone wants to buy my ***** so not much room to move on this price.

Surprised you didn't go for the Premium pack????? would have ordered it with Premium and Dynamic pack but wanted it asap so found a cancelled order. Most of that stuff but without ASC traction control.

SBW has one if anyone wants one asap. premium pack dynamic pack and alarm 12265 otr

By the way, before anyone gives me a bollocking for my advert above (which I have since edited off now I've checked out the rules)), I didn't realise that being a sponsor is an annual thing. I was a sponsor last year, but haven't paid up yet for this year, so apologies - please ignore it.
