GSA fuel gauge

Has BMW come up with a proper fix for the useless fuel guage yet? last time i enquired parts dept were not supplying any parts till they had a fix.

I don't know whether they changed anything on the 2011/12 tc but mines working fine 4500 miles 8 months on, I hope I havnt jinxed it!

I believe the latest bikes went back to a float system instead of the strip but it isn't backwards compatible.
