Folks.

I have the triple Ally cases on my GSA and thought I’d get a set of inner bags.

Any recommendations?

Cheers

I've got these https://www.nippynormans.com/wunder...on/wunderlich-evo-inner-bags-for-pannier-pair

And this https://www.nippynormans.com/wunder...nderlich-inner-bag-for-bmw-aluminium-top-case

Not cheap I admit but very well made and they fit. You could go for Tourtech versions much cheaper but don't have anywhere near the quality, and their sizing is all odd to me. Top box 35l but the standard BMW bow is 32, one pannier bag is 38 when the box is 36L and 45L for a 44L pannier or something like that. Odd.

Hi there. I got a set, three bags, from a company in Manchester called Maine Events some years ago and they were a great price and quality. Sorry but I can't find their number but try a google search. Good luck.

I think so yes l.
This was the offer I bought mine under, I got panniers and inner bags:

Whatever you chose, I would go for dry bags, as BMW do not class the alloy boxes as water proof (my right side one leaks slightly at the lid seal).

I've got the cheapo set off e bay for the top box / side cases ( greatbikersgear £48). The quality is fine for day to day use that i put them through, had them 5 years and no problem whatsoever.

Only possible downside was / is, if the boxes leaked on a trip but I cover that by just taking a few bin liners.

I was thinking about upgrading possibly in future and had my eye on the bags that MOTEA do, looks good stuff with sealed seams and you can use them as roll bags as well. They also come with the straps you need to fasten as an external roll bag. I liked the look of them and was very tempted on the black friday discount they were offering. Just be careful with delivery though as i think there's import taxes. They have them on their own website but they are also on ebay.

Just some options for ya.

These ones?

Yes, that's them. I can tell from the logo on the bags. I got the all black ones and there's a few suppliers all selling the same thing.

Decent quality, water resistant and the fit in the panniers / top box is as good as anything else. I just leave mine in the boxes and had no problems in 5 years. Zips are fine but they dont get loads of hammer cos i just leave em open most times at the top and fold the flap to the inside of the bag so access is quick when i'm out and about.

I always pack with cubes and generally only use the top box, so side cases and liners would stay in good condition.

Think I’ll get these.

I use the BMW waterproof inner bags from my old Hexhead GSA, only difference is the one marked left now goes in the right and vice versa.

I was looking at those as a guaranteed waterproof set plus potential use as an external roll bag, but customs charges was putting me off as i couldn't work out a final price.

How did it work for you ? do they come direct to your door and what % customs do you end up paying ?

Cheers

In fact I decided on these: https://www.motea.uk/inner-bags-for...s-adventure-19-23-bagtecs-cli-liner-a543839-0

If you read the blurb near the total price it states >£135 there is 25% duties to pay, so the MOTEA30 discount code makes it work nicely..
also have these but I have the black ones which are slightly more expensive. Water proof and very durable material totally happy with them. UK price is a bit higher than EU. 97 Euro for the full set delivered in EU. Doesn't help if you don't have an option to have someone bring them over to you......

I did a quick comparison between the 2 colour sets & decided there wasn't any difference apart from the fancy colours that'll match my Trophy nicely. Well that was how I justified it to myself!!:)
