hi, just got off the phone with the Mottorad insurance folks ( a bit of Devitt DA) asking why my recently acquired 1150 GSA is group 17, when I recall the GS i used to run being group 13.
Besides the high cost of replacement tanks, more likelihood of stacking it upside down in a ditch halfway up a mountainside, wiping off the fog lumps, fixing the ABS etc, is there any reason for it being more expensive?
I would note it is the same insurance price as my not missed at all K1200S (except for the blistering overtakes) which I thought was extremely cheap at the time...
( to put this in perspective, I've now reached that happy motorcycling moment of being in the age group where its bloody cheap anyway - just having a check on principle)
regards
