...Curious to know, I acknowledged an LC rider near Worthing and a GSA rider near Eastbourne, both totally ignored me. Is it that I ride a 990 and am inferior?...seem to get acknowledged on the MM.
 
Maybe they didnt notice you? Sensitive much?
 
There must be more important things in your life to worry about, as Emma says maybe they were focused elsewhere - don't take it personally.;)

For perspective, I regularly get ignored by members of my own family!

I'd be interested in when it was. Was it yesterday? I was in Eastbourne yesterday. Was it a red 800 GSA? Ooh say it was so.

If it was me, I cant look at other people in case I fall off.
 
I wave at everyone and everything, Scooters, Chicken Chasers you name it, it get's waved at, cuz we are all one big brother (sister) hood innit :)

The OP's not Henry Cole is he, Henry got upset on "Great Motorcycle Rides" when 2 GS Riders did not wave back at him.
 
I ride a GSA and give a nod to all motorised 2 wheeled machines.

I assume the ones that don't acknowledge me are probably winking back at me

As an ex 950 owner - 990s were always classed as inferior. :D
 
Im a head nodder, if i dont get one in return then so be it.
 
I would give a wave to anyone on an Orange 990, as an equal however all other make and models get a slightly condescending nod of the head, they need to be acknowledged but understand their inferior place in the world ;-)

I nod and wave at everyone, cars, bikes, pedestrians, aeroplanes, and it's bloody hard work I tell you.:rob

I don't wave at other GS's though. Fuck em.:D
 
i nod to police bike riders………..a few have nodded back
 
The art of nodding is dead, but we all do it and wave at any bike coming the other way, one big happy family, yet any bike on our side must be fooking passed at all cost have it

I nod to all. Police riders often nod back. HD riders, well a breed unto themselves. I nod, with a smirk in side the visor...tossers!
 
...you can race a 35k G50, a megga buck super bike and at the other end an Mz stroker, ....all are willing to lend a hand to one another, no issues, no snobbery....
.....seems a some what diluted camaraderie among road rider these days...
....not tarring all with the same brush of course.

.....and to all that replied to my curious observation with intelectual and tossy replies.... you add real value to my annual sub. :)

If you're worried about not getting a nod back, don't EVER nod at a Harley rider!
