I doubt they stick out more than the 1250 versions, because the racks are supposed to be closer into the bike centre. The engine bars though....!
The extra “handles” are supposed to protect the vulnerable tank in a drop…I doubt they stick out more than the 1250 versions, because the racks are supposed to be closer into the bike centre. The engine bars though....!

Exemption like Sikh’s because of their man bunWhere do folk stow their helmets who buy these Mosco coal sacks or faux, tactical cotton panniers?
Or, don’t they wear helmets?![]()
You’re an advocate of tactical coal sacks as panniers, JBExemption like Sikh’s because of their man bun

Got my 1300 Adventure 31st Mar. Still waiting for the panniers. Dick Lovett in Bristol just keep saying they are on back order with no dates. Trouble is I was only told they were not available was when I was handed the key. Really poor and they are still pushing the offer. BMW should be offering something for this as people are having to spend money on other options while they wait.I took advantage of the current offer to include 'free' luggage on bike registered this quarter. My GSA arrived on Thursday without the luggage. There's no luggage in the UK or at the BMW factory. Hence it is on 'back-order', with no date given for delivery. I have a tour next month, so am having to make fall-back arrangements.
Is anyone else in the same position? Has anyone been given a date?
These things can hit even the finest companies from time to time. But, it happened before, when they first launched the new GSA. So, without first fully stress testing it, to choose the weakest link in the supply chain as the special offer, does smack of incompetence. I'm sure we've all experienced, how the best, most customer-focused businesses, can gain loyalty in the way they look after customers when things go wrong. Be interesting to see how BMW respond. So far, poor / nil communication, leaving dealers unsupported.Got my 1300 Adventure 31st Mar. Still waiting for the panniers.
