GSA Metal Panniers Hexhead 1200 GS

Does anyone know if GSA panniers fit a 2012 GS Hexhead and if so, would the mounting racks also fit the GS or is there any modifications
that would need to be made ?

Yep no problems. Straight forward bolt on job. Swapped both our GS to GSA panniers. Need all the mounting hardwear frames etc. If you buying second hand, ebay so no make sure all the nuts,bolts spacers etc are all there but you can get them as spares from a dealer. Have pictures of bikes with them if you are interested.

A worthwhile mod as the GSA panniers are in my view better for touring. If you are after a set I'm sure there was a set for sale on here.

There are four little tube spacers under some of the M6 mounting screws. To keep the cases parallel, put the two slightly longer spacers underneath the seat. The difference looks trivial but can result in the cases looking droopy.

Also use lots of anti seize grease. One of my spacers had corroded badly from reaction with the stainless screws. It's not a show stopper but worth the extra effort.
