GSA or not GSA - I need help!

So here's the deal, I have been looking at the 2010 GSA since it came out, don't like the 30th but love it in grey!
Almost changed it March but didn't (p/x was crap!!!), now looking again for Sept. I have got a std '06 GS from new, 35k miles of pleasure from the Alps to Estonia and Norway.

Shall I or shan't I ???

Really? Used or new you mean? I've seen the panniers deal however I couldn't get much more than that after asking a few dealers.

Not sure what the policy is on the forum about quoting prices, but I was talking to a mate the other day who picked up a brand new grey GSA for a good discount (good 3 figures) and got the free panniers plus the top box/liners/tank bag kit thrown in.

GSA all the way. I've had both and I really value the extra tank range and love the Adventure accessories (particularly useful when the bike goes down with all your camping gear on!). Try the guys at SBW motorrad in Hertford. They talk a tough line but they will always do a sensible deal in the end.

try coopers at tunbridge wells, very easy to deal with, i went to park lane first and had no joy, stood in the showroom for ages before anyone came to help and then they didn't seem interested

Just to add my 2p - I can also recommend Vines (Caterham and Guildford). I've had a couple of bikes from them and managed to get a decent deal for both.

Thanks, I've put my current bike for sale on this parish. Fingers crossed!!!! It's the same old story again, you keep your bike as a baby all its life and when time comes to change nobody wants it!!!

Just fyi - I was in Guildford Vines yesterday and they have a 2010 GSA in yellow inside for £12.5k. Can't remember what the mileage was but think it was pretty low.

Might be worth a look and part-ex quote, if you can live with the yellow

Thanks Keith, I had seen that bike on their website. However the panniers offer plus some additional efforts from dealers would make a new one more attractive at the moment. I am also considering the enduro gearbox if I get it new, in grey of course!

Good move, if you're likely to ride in traffic. I commute on mine as well as weekend fun and have the enduro box. Definitely less clutch work needed.
